I have some very exciting news to share: I’m heading to Saint Vincent this October!

And this trip feels particularly special because I recently learned that I’m currently the #2 travel advisor in Canada for Saint Vincent sales.

As someone who has spent years specializing in Caribbean travel, that is an incredible honour — and one that makes me even more excited to get back on the ground and experience more of this beautiful destination firsthand.

Why Saint Vincent Has Become One of My Favourite Caribbean Destinations

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines feels different from many of the Caribbean destinations Canadians know best.

It’s lush, mountainous and wonderfully unspoiled, with dramatic coastlines, beautiful beaches and a slower, more authentic island atmosphere. This isn’t a destination dominated by huge stretches of resorts. It’s somewhere that still feels like a discovery.

And Canadian travellers are starting to discover it.

Since the opening of Sandals Saint Vincent, I’ve seen significantly more interest in the destination from clients looking for something beyond the Caribbean islands they’ve already visited.

From the main island of Saint Vincent to Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau and the Tobago Cays, this is a destination with so much depth — particularly for travellers who want to combine a luxury resort stay with a more immersive Caribbean experience.

Heading Back This October

This October, I’ll be returning to Saint Vincent, and staying at Sandals Saint Vincent, as part of a very special trip to celebrate.

I’ll be paying attention to the details that matter when I’m recommending Saint Vincent to my clients: the journey from Canada, the arrival experience, the beaches, room locations, dining, resort atmosphere, excursions and the little things you can’t fully understand from a website or brochure.

That firsthand knowledge is a huge part of how I plan travel.

Why Book Saint Vincent With a Destination Specialist?

Saint Vincent is still relatively new to many Canadian travellers, which means having someone who genuinely knows the destination can make a difference.

Where should you stay? Is Sandals Saint Vincent right for you? Should you spend your entire vacation on the main island, or add a few nights in the Grenadines? Which room category makes sense? What should you experience while you’re there?

Those are the kinds of questions I love helping my clients answer.

Being ranked #2 in Canada for Saint Vincent sales is something I’m incredibly proud of, but what matters most to me is what sits behind that number: more travellers trusting me to help them discover a destination I genuinely believe is one of the Caribbean’s most exciting places to visit.

And after October, I’ll have even more firsthand knowledge to share.
