From soaring over the island by helicopter to sipping cocktails at sunset, my recent trip to Saint Lucia was a dream come true—and a powerful reminder of why this Caribbean gem continues to wow both seasoned travellers and first-time visitors alike.

I had the privilege of staying at two iconic properties: the all-inclusive Sandals Grande St. Lucian and the world-renowned Jade Mountain, with its spectacular open-air sanctuaries and panoramic views of the Pitons. Each resort offered something completely unique, and I can’t wait to match future clients with the one that fits their vacation vision best.

Touring Saint Lucia’s Top Resorts

Throughout the week, I had the opportunity to tour all three Sandals Resorts on the island—Sandals Grande St. Lucian, Sandals Halcyon Beach, and Sandals Regency La Toc. I also spent time at Anse Chastanet, the eco-luxury sister property to Jade Mountain. Meeting with the sales teams at each property gave me incredible insight into the rooms, experiences, and personalized service available across the island. This kind of firsthand knowledge is what sets Pink Palm Travel apart—our clients get real, tailored recommendations.

Sea, Land, and Sky: The Best Way to Explore

If you’re heading to Saint Lucia, let me just say this: don’t limit yourself to one perspective. Exploring this island by land, sea, and sky is where the real magic lies.

  • JJ’s Island Routes Soufrière Experience from Sandals Grande St. Lucian (booked through Island Routes) was a standout: we boarded a speedboat from Rodney Bay, cruised down the coastline to see the majestic Piton Mountains, stopped to snorkel at Anse Chastanet, bathed in volcanic mud, dipped into a refreshing waterfall, and enjoyed a local Creole lunch.
  • From Jade Mountain, we took a sunset sail that was nothing short of cinematic. Dolphins even joined us, surfing alongside the boat.
  • And to top it off? We skipped the drive and opted for a helicopter transfer back to the airport. The birds-eye view of Saint Lucia’s lush mountains, villages, and volcanic peaks was the ultimate grand finale—and saved us over an hour of travel time.

Little Luxuries & Sweet Discoveries

Between resort hopping and excursions, I managed to find time for a visit to a local chocolate shop, Cacao Sainte Lucie—a delicious reminder of Saint Lucia’s rich cocoa heritage. Combine that with perfect weather (steady 28°C with a gentle breeze all day long), and this trip was the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
