Sandals GRENADA Resort Guide
Sandals Grenada is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort on Pink Gin Beach in Grenada. Lush, elegant and beautifully designed, it combines a relatively intimate resort footprint with gorgeous tropical surroundings, excellent rooms and one of the easiest airport transfers in the Sandals collection. It’s also a Sandals fan favourite.
There’s something about this resort that just works. It feels polished without feeling enormous, romantic without being overly quiet and lush without making the property difficult to navigate.
And after flying to Grenada, one of the best parts is how quickly your vacation begins. Sandals Grenada is just minutes from Maurice Bishop International Airport, so there’s no long transfer between you and your first cocktail by the pool.
For couples who want a beautiful, manageable resort with excellent accommodations and a distinctly tropical atmosphere, Sandals Grenada should be high on the list.

Sandals Grenada is a particularly strong option if you want your vacation to feel easy. You’re not spending hours getting from the airport to the resort, and once you arrive, the property is compact enough that you don’t feel like you need to plan your day around getting from one end to the other.
Sandals GRENADA Resort Highlights
Sandals Grenada gets a lot right. The resort is relatively small, but it doesn’t feel limited. Instead, I think its size is one of its strengths.
You have lush landscaping, beautiful pools, interesting architecture, great restaurants and very different accommodation styles all within a resort that still feels manageable.
It’s also elegant. There are some Sandals Resorts I choose primarily for the beach, others for the rooms and others for the destination itself. Grenada gives you a really nice combination of all three.
Then there’s the airport transfer. Sandals Grenada is only minutes from Maurice Bishop International Airport. After a travel day, being able to get off the plane and start your vacation almost immediately is a real advantage.

The resort has several distinct areas, and the experience can change considerably depending on whether you choose a poolside walkout, a beachfront room or one of the elevated Skypool suites.
Best Rooms at Sandals GRENADA
Sandals Grenada has some excellent room choices across different price points. You don’t need to book a Butler suite to have a great room here. There are appealing walkout and beachfront options at lower service levels, while the Italian Village offers some of the resort’s most impressive premium accommodations. These are three of my favourite choices.
BEST VALUE
South Seas Honeymoon Poolside Hideaway Walkout Junior Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub
The South Seas Honeymoon Poolside Hideaway Walkout Junior Suite is one of my favourite value choices at Sandals Grenada.
The patio Tranquility Soaking Tub gives you your own outdoor space to relax without requiring an upgrade into Club or Butler Level.
For couples who want a great room but expect to spend most of their vacation enjoying the resort, I think this suite offers excellent value.
Best for beach lovers
Pink Gin Beachfront Honeymoon Club Level Suite
If being close to the beach is your priority, I’d look at the Pink Gin Beachfront Honeymoon Club Level Suite.
At a Caribbean resort, location can sometimes be worth more to me than an elaborate list of room features. This category puts the beachfront experience at the centre of your stay while adding Club Sandals amenities.
For couples who picture waking up near the water and spending most of their vacation moving between the beach, pool and restaurants, this suite is one of my favourite ways to experience Sandals Grenada.
Best for a splurge
Italian Oceanview One Bedroom Skypool Butler Suite with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
The Italian Oceanview One Bedroom Skypool Butler Suite is one of Sandals Grenada’s showstopper rooms. The standout feature is the private Skypool — an elevated infinity-edge pool that gives you an entirely different way to experience the resort and its ocean views.
You also get a separate one-bedroom layout, private balcony, Tranquility Soaking Tub and Butler service. This is the room I’d consider for a major honeymoon or milestone anniversary where you want the accommodation itself to be part of what you remember about the trip.

Is Butler Service Worth It at Sandals GRENADA?
There are strong Luxury and Club Level rooms here, including some of my favourite walkout and beachfront options.
I’d consider a Butler suite if:
- You specifically want a Skypool suite
- You want a separate one-bedroom layout
- You’re celebrating a honeymoon or milestone anniversary
- You want your accommodation to be a major part of the vacation
- You value personalized service throughout your stay
- You plan to spend meaningful time enjoying your suite and private pool
MY TAKE
WHAT IS SANDALS GRENADA REALLY LIKE?
A fan favourite for a reason.
Sandals Grenada is beautiful.
It’s lush, elegant and intimate enough that you don’t feel like you’re spending your vacation navigating a giant resort.
I think the size is one of its biggest strengths.
There’s enough happening that you have choices, but it still feels manageable. You can settle into the resort very quickly.
The rooms are another strength.
You have completely different experiences available depending on what matters to you: walkout access, beachfront location or one of those incredible Skypool suites.
And then there’s the airport.
Being minutes from the resort after you land in Grenada is fantastic.
No long, winding drive. No spending the first part of your vacation watching the island go past through a transfer window.
You land, transfer and your vacation begins.
For couples who want a beautiful, romantic Sandals Resort that feels polished but not enormous, Grenada is an easy one for me to recommend.
THE BEACH
PINK GIN BEACH
Sandals Grenada sits directly on Pink Gin Beach, giving you a beautiful Caribbean setting just minutes from the airport. What I like about Grenada is that the beach is only one piece of the resort experience. You can spend your morning by the water, move to one of the pools in the afternoon and then head back to your room without navigating an enormous property. The lush landscaping around the resort also gives the beachfront setting a distinctly tropical feel. If having the beach immediately outside your accommodation matters to you, I’d pay particular attention to the Pink Gin room categories when choosing where to stay.
EAT & DRINK
DINING AT SANDALS GRENADA
Sandals Grenada offers plenty of dining variety for a smaller resort, and I like that my favourite restaurants give you three very different experiences. These are the ones I’d put on my list.

Don’t overlook Sandals Grenada because it isn’t one of the biggest or newest resorts in the collection. Its size is part of what makes it so appealing. You get a lush, elegant resort, great rooms, excellent dining and a beautiful Caribbean setting without the scale of a mega-resort.
